Description
QantasLink, a wholly owned subsidiary of Qantas, is looking for full-time Flight Attendants to join its team in Cairns. As a Cabin Crew member, you will operate as part of a two-person team on Dash-8 turboprop aircraft, flying to a range of regional destinations across North-Eastern Australia, including Cloncurry, Moranbah and Mackay. This role offers the opportunity to deliver exceptional inflight service while ensuring the highest level of safety onboard, with comprehensive training to confidently manage a variety of emergency situations.
As a Cabin Crew member, you will demonstrate passion and pride in consistently delivering exceptional customer service while anticipating customer needs and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. You will provide a caring approach to nervous flyers and respect cultural and linguistic diversities. The role requires adherence to all training requirements and successful completion of assessments. You will build strong rapport with team members, contributing positively to team performance, while maintaining personal grooming standards and ensuring cabin cleanliness.
Requirements
The successful candidate must be 18 years of age or older, have sound written and verbal communication skills in English, and have recent experience in a customer-facing role. They must have a maximum height of 183 cm and a minimum reach of 212 cm from the ground (both hands reaching past 212 cm barefoot). A valid First Aid and CPR Certificate or a willingness to obtain one is required. Candidates must also have excellent health and fitness, including the ability to swim and tread water unassisted, along with unlimited Australian working rights.
