Join Our Team as a Horizon Air Flight Attendant in Everett, WA!
Horizon Air, operating as part of the Alaska Airlines family, is looking for warm, authentic, and gracious individuals to join our Everett-based cabin crew. If you genuinely enjoy connecting with people, staying calm under pressure, and turning a routine flight into a welcoming experience, this might be the career you've been looking for.
This is a union-represented role where you'll be the face of our airline—someone who takes pride in both safety and hospitality.
What You'll Do Every Day?
Your role goes far beyond serving coffee or greeting passengers at the door. You'll be the person guests look to for reassurance, information, and a friendly smile. Here's a closer look at what your daily responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring every safety regulation is understood and followed without exception
- Checking that all safety equipment on the aircraft is in proper working order before takeoff
- Greeting passengers warmly, helping with seating, and assisting with carry-on baggage and security
- Demonstrating safety equipment and emergency procedures in a clear, confident manner
- Preparing and serving meals, and beverages with a professional touch
- Marketing onboard products such as meals and inflight entertainment, processing sales smoothly using a mobile device
- Handling passenger situations calmly during flight—including medical emergencies
- Answering questions about flight operations and sharing helpful destination information
- Taking on other duties as needed to support your team and guests
What You Bring to the Role?
We're looking for people who are ready to commit to safety, service, and flexibility. Here are the must-haves:

- A flexible schedule—you're ready to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- A willingness to travel extensively
- At least two years of customer or community service experience
- An uncompromising dedication to safety above all else
Physical and Appearance Requirements:
Because this role operates in a specific aircraft environment, there are some physical standards you'll need to meet:
- Your body size must fit within specific aircraft dimensions—including the jump seat, harness (without modification), cabin aisle, and emergency exits
- You must demonstrate the physical ability to perform all flight attendant duties
- You must be willing to relocate to any of our flight attendant bases: Seattle, WA; Portland, OR; Medford, OR; Boise, ID; Spokane, WA; Anchorage, AK; or Everett, WA
Tattoo Policy (Please Read Carefully)
We appreciate self-expression, but onboard visibility matters. Here's our tattoo policy for this role:
- No visible tattoos on the face, front of neck, or chest
- One tattoo the size of a quarter or smaller is allowed per hand
- Tattoos in other areas cannot be larger than a credit card or offensive in nature
- You may have one tattoo per arm, leg, foot, back of neck, or behind each ear
- Tattoos on the back of the neck and behind the ears are only permitted if they are not visible when someone looks directly at you
- Tattoos may only be covered with a uniform piece or an approved accessory like jewelry or a watch—makeup is not allowed as coverage
Training and Travel Requirements:
- You must be able to attend 4 weeks of paid training in Portland, OR
- You need a current passport with unlimited access in and out of the United States
- If you hold a non-U.S. passport, you must also have any appropriate travel documentation
