About the Role
As a Cabin Crew member at Air Tanzania, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring passenger safety, comfort, and satisfaction throughout every journey. From managing onboard safety procedures to creating memorable service moments, you’ll be at the heart of our operations — making every flight a smooth and welcoming experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the safety, security, and comfort of passengers and fellow crew throughout the flight.
- Deliver exceptional in-flight service in line with Air Tanzania’s service standards and procedures.
- Communicate professionally with passengers, providing clear information and assistance when needed.
- Support the Purser or Senior Cabin Crew in ensuring on-time performance and smooth cabin operations.
- Handle catering items, cabin equipment, and in-flight materials with care and accountability.
- Report any incidents, irregularities, or passenger feedback promptly to senior crew members.
- Cooperate with team members to resolve passenger concerns and maintain service excellence.
- Stay fully compliant with all operational and safety regulations, following both TCAA and Air Tanzania guidelines.
- Remain flexible and available for duty roster changes as required.
- Collect feedback and share recommendations to continuously improve cabin service quality.
What We’re Looking For?
We’re seeking dedicated individuals who combine professionalism with genuine warmth and respect for our passengers. The ideal candidate will demonstrate confidence, teamwork, and a deep sense of responsibility in every situation.
Minimum Requirements:
- Form IV Certificate with at least four credit passes, including English.
- Ab-Initio Certificate from a recognized aviation institution and a Cabin Crew Member Certificate issued by the Tanzania Civil Aviation Authority (TCAA).
- Arm reach of at least 212 cm while standing.
- Healthy Body Mass Index (BMI) and overall good physical condition.
- No visible tattoos while wearing the Air Tanzania uniform.
- Fluent in English and Swahili, both spoken and written.
- Meets all requirements of the Cabin Crew Member Manual.
- Knowledge of an additional international language is an advantage.
