Elevate Excellence at 45,000 Feet: Cabin Attendant – Teterboro, NJ!
There's private aviation, and then there's Jet Aviation. As a Cabin Attendant based at our Teterboro flagship location, you'll step into a role reserved for those who understand that true luxury lives in the details others don't see. This isn't about following a service manual—it's about anticipating needs before they're spoken, creating seamless experiences for discerning clientele, and representing a legacy of excellence that spans decades.
If you possess that rare combination of polished poise, quiet confidence, and an almost intuitive ability to read a room (or cabin), we invite you to bring your expertise to a team that sets the standard for private aviation worldwide.
Your Purpose: Curator of the In-Flight Experience
Every flight you steward becomes a reflection of your meticulous attention and genuine care. From the moment you begin pre-flight preparations to the final follow-through after landing, you own the cabin experience completely. You'll work in lockstep with the Pilot-in-Command, ensuring operations flow seamlessly while your focus remains exactly where it should be: on the passengers entrusted to your care. Whether it's sourcing a specific vintage for a returning client, arranging seating for a family traveling with young children, or maintaining the calm, composed presence that defines professional excellence, you are the reason every journey feels effortlessly extraordinary.
Your Days Will Include:
- Partnering with flight crews to conduct thorough preflight cabin inspections, address maintenance needs, and maintain an immaculate, welcoming environment
- Anticipating passenger needs with quiet precision—assisting with luggage, seating arrangements, and ensuring comfort for all guests, including children and those with special requirements
- Mastering safety protocols and emergency procedures, standing ready to lead with clarity and composure should the unexpected arise
- Curating culinary experiences that delight, from sourcing premium vendors to preparing and presenting meals tailored to individual preferences
- Maintaining meticulous administrative records—updating client profiles, completing post-trip reports, managing expenses, and keeping aircraft manuals current
- Mentoring and guiding contract or part-time crew members, sharing your expertise and elevating the entire team's performance
- Representing Jet Aviation as a trusted ambassador to industry groups and regulatory bodies, always embodying our core values
What You'll Experience?
This role engages more than your professional skills—it calls on your physical readiness and adaptability. You should be comfortable with frequent lifting and moving of items up to 50 pounds, including overhead reaching, and able to navigate the varied physical demands of cabin preparation and service. Your work environment will shift from the polished quiet of VIP terminals to the active hum of maintenance hangars, where you may encounter occasional noise, fuel fumes, or changing temperatures. And, of course, you'll travel the world—delivering the Jet Aviation standard across continents and time zones.
Who We're Looking For?
We seek candidates who bring both credentials and character to this elite role. You should possess:
Expert Training
- Flight Safety International or equivalent corporate Cabin Attendant recurrent training; MedAire Management of Inflight Illness and Injury certification or CPR/AED equivalent
Proven Experience
- Four years in a similar role, with at least two years in culinary or high-end hospitality settings
Education
- High school diploma required; additional hospitality or aviation education is a plus
Flexible Spirit
- Willingness to work variable schedules, including extended trips, holidays, and weekends, adapting to the unique demands of flight missions
Global Readiness
- Ability to travel extensively worldwide without restrictions
Clean Credentials
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; must be at least 21 years of age
