Join Piedmont Airlines as a Flight Attendant – Based in Charlotte, Philadelphia, or Harrisburg!

At Piedmont Airlines, we take pride in delivering industry-leading service that sets the standard for regional aviation. Behind that reputation is a team of dedicated, level-headed professionals who genuinely care about the safety and comfort of every passenger who steps onboard. We are currently looking for motivated, reliable individuals to join our Inflight Service Department as Flight Attendants on American Eagle flights.

This role is for someone who thrives on independence. You will work largely without direct supervision in the aircraft cabin, handling a wide range of situations—from routine service to unexpected emergencies—while staying calm, professional, and focused. If you are someone who naturally takes charge when needed, connects easily with people from all walks of life, and is looking for a career that keeps you moving, Piedmont might be your perfect fit.

What You'll Be Doing Day to Day?

Your primary responsibility will always be safety, but your daily work will touch nearly every aspect of the passenger experience. Expect to:

    • Ensure the safety and physical comfort of passengers throughout every flight
    • Take the lead during both emergency and non-emergency situations, guiding passengers with clarity and confidence
    • Work independently in the cabin, making real-time decisions without on-site supervision
    • Adapt to a wide variety of climates, locations, and shifting schedules
    • Interact continuously with the traveling public, handling everything from routine questions to unexpected challenges with professionalism and poise

What You Bring to the Role?

We're looking for candidates who are ready to commit to the unique lifestyle of a Flight Attendant. To be considered, you'll need:

    • At least 21 years of age
    • A high school diploma or GED
    • Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English
    • A valid passport that allows unrestricted travel to and from the United States
    • A professional appearance, with no visible tattoos, no facial or upper ear piercings, and no unnatural hair colors while in uniform
    • A height between 5'2" (158 cm) and 6'0" (183 cm)
    • The physical ability to walk and fit comfortably down the aircraft aisle while facing forward, move efficiently through the over-wing exit, and sit in the jump seat without modifications or a seat belt extension
    • Willingness to work shifts up to 14 hours per day
    • A clean driving record, ability to pass a 10-year criminal history records check, and a pre-employment drug screen

It's Even Better If You Have:

    • A bachelor's degree
    • At least two years of customer service experience

    Physical Realities of the Job

This is an active role that requires real physical stamina. You should be comfortable with:

    • Frequent stooping, bending, kneeling, walking, standing, reaching, and climbing stairs
    • Long periods of standing while speaking to passengers
    • Lifting objects up to 50 pounds on your own
    • Pulling or pushing a catering cart weighing more than 150 pounds
    • Assisting passengers with disabilities, including pushing wheelchairs

    Where and When You'll Work?

This job takes you places—literally and figuratively. You can expect:

    • Work at airport ramp and warehouse environments, with exposure to varied weather conditions and elevated noise levels
    • All shifts, including weekdays, weekends, nights, holidays, and irregular schedules
    • Extensive travel, including consecutive nights away from your base

    Training – Your First Step

Before you ever greet your first passenger, you'll complete:

    • 35 days of paid ground school held in Charlotte, NC
    • During ground school, you will be required to stay at a company-arranged hotel for the full five weeks
    • This is followed by up to two weeks of on-the-job training
    • Successful completion of all phases of training is required to continue in the role

    What Piedmont Offers You?

We believe in taking care of our team. Your benefits package includes:

    • Paid training
    • Holiday pay
    • 401(k) plan
    • Paid vacation
    • Family travel benefits on the American Airlines network
    • Medical and dental coverage
    • Bonuses awarded in accordance with company policies and applicable criteria

Equal Opportunity: All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
