Lead Our Cabin Crew Team at SAS – Copenhagen Base!
At SAS, we're on a journey to reshape aviation—making it more sustainable, more personal, and more rewarding for everyone who flies with us. Now, we're looking for a people-focused, energetic leader to join our Copenhagen team as Cabin Crew Manager. If you're someone who naturally brings out the best in others, thrives in a fast-moving environment, and wants to play a meaningful role in the future of Scandinavian aviation, this could be the perfect next step in your career.
What You'll Be Doing?
This is a hands-on leadership role where your people skills matter as much as your operational know-how. You won't be sitting behind a desk all day—you'll be out there, connecting with your crew, supporting them through the ups and downs of airline life, and making sure the Copenhagen base runs smoothly.
Here's a closer look at what your days will involve:
- Leading and motivating our cabin crew from a distance—yes, distance leadership is part of it, but you'll make every crew member feel seen, heard, and valued no matter where they are.
- Taking an active role in our work environment initiatives, helping to shape a positive, healthy culture where people actually want to show up and do their best.
- Collaborating closely with other teams like planning, commercial, and people operations—because smooth flying starts on the ground.
- Turning big-picture strategic goals into practical, everyday standards that make sense for your crew and our passengers.
- Keeping a close eye on local KPIs—things like absence follow-up, customer feedback, and engagement action plans—while also being part of our on-call "jour-phone" rotation.
- Building real trust and team spirit, celebrating wins (big and small), and inspiring a genuine "can-do" attitude that goes the extra mile for our travelers.
Who You Are?
We're looking for someone who leads with warmth, clarity, and a bit of Scandinavian pragmatism. You don't need to have all the answers, but you do need to know how to bring people together.
Here's what we're hoping you bring to the table:
- A natural ability to create enthusiasm and get people working as one team—even when things get hectic.
- Strong communication skills that help you inspire, engage, and sometimes just listen.
- Flexibility and real availability—because airline operations don't follow a 9-to-5 schedule, and your crew will need you at all sorts of hours.
- Comfort with high pace and constant change. If you thrive when things get dynamic, you'll fit right in.
- Previous experience in aviation is a big plus—it helps to understand the world your crew lives in.
- Leadership experience of any kind is a strong advantage.
- Full professional fluency in English, plus proficiency in a Scandinavian language (Swedish, Norwegian, or Danish).
Why Join SAS?
This isn't just another management job. You'll be part of an international, people-first company that's genuinely committed to transformation—both in the air and on the ground. Plus, you'll enjoy:
- Generous travel benefits and discounted tickets for you and your loved ones.
- A workplace culture built on teamwork, continuous learning, and mutual respect.
