Join Solairus Aviation: Global 7500 Flight Attendant – Southern California!

Solairus Aviation is seeking a dedicated, full-time Flight Attendant for a commutable operation based in beautiful Southern California. This is not just another in-flight role—it's an opportunity to become an essential part of a world-class private aviation team. We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys going the extra mile, who finds satisfaction in anticipating needs before they're spoken, and who brings both warmth and precision to every passenger interaction. If you have a true passion for culinary arts and thrive in an environment where no two days are the same, this could be your perfect fit.

What You'll Be Doing Day to Day?

As the onboard service professional on our Global 7500, you'll be the person our passengers trust and rely on from the moment they step aboard. Your presence will set the tone for every journey—calm, capable, and genuinely attentive.

Your core focus will always be safety, but your day-to-day involves so much more:

    • Greeting passengers warmly, guiding them through safety equipment, and creating an immediate sense of ease and professionalism.
    • Taking full ownership of the cabin environment—ensuring every detail from emergency gear to reading materials is on board, organized, and ready.
    • Shopping for special passenger requests, adding a personal touch that transforms a flight into a curated experience.
    • Serving food and beverages with genuine hospitality, drawing on your culinary knowledge to elevate every presentation.
    • Conducting periodic cabin checks to ensure ongoing comfort, cleanliness, and a serene atmosphere.
    • Completing all required pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight paperwork with accuracy and care.
    • Operating audio, video, and cabin management systems confidently.
    • Directing and assisting passengers in any emergency, administering basic first aid or CPR/AED if needed, and reassuring travelers during turbulence or unexpected situations.
    • After each leg, you'll inspect, clean, and restock the cabin, galley, lavatories, and flight deck—ensuring the aircraft is always immaculate and ready for departure.

    What We're Looking For?

This role is ideal for an experienced corporate flight attendant who brings both polish and practicality. We need someone who can handle long days, last-minute schedule changes, and the unique demands of private aviation with patience and a positive attitude.

    Required Experience & Skills:

    • At least 5 years of experience as a Corporate Flight Attendant.
    • First Aid Training Certification is a must.
    • A genuine passion for food and culinary service, with formal culinary training strongly preferred.
    • Flexibility and patience—you understand that schedules change and you adapt gracefully.
    • Technological savvy, comfortable with iPads, smartphones, apps, and onboard systems.
    • Ability to operate all galley equipment, cabin features (including berthing seats and converting the divan into a bed), and cabin management systems.
    • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, paired with meticulous attention to detail.
    • A valid passport with unrestricted ability to travel worldwide (please consider your own health status and any visa restrictions).
    • Availability to deploy for up to 16 consecutive days and report on short notice (2–3 hours when on standby).
    • Comfort working late nights and a constantly shifting schedule.

It's Even Better If You Have:

    • A college degree.
    • Fluency in one or more foreign languages.
    • Experience caring for or working with small children.

    Training & Certifications

Flight attendant-specific training from FlightSafety, FACTs, or a similar program is preferred. Candidates without formal training may still be considered based on other qualifications but must complete initial training before any flight assignment. Preference goes to those who have completed FlightSafety, FACTs, or equivalent training within the past 12 months. Annual recurrent training is required.

Physical Requirements – Please Read Carefully

This role is physically demanding, and we want to be transparent so you can assess your own readiness:

    • Vision: Must be correctable to 20/20 or better with glasses or contacts. Uncorrected vision should be no worse than 20/20. You will need to read reports, charts, manage paperwork, and use a computer, smartphone, or iPad.
    • Hearing/Speaking: Clear speech and adequate hearing are essential for effective communication with clients, coworkers, and pilots—even in a noisy airborne cabin.
    • Standing/Walking: You must be able to stand for up to 14 hours with limited opportunity to sit, working long hours in various climates.
    • Climbing/Stooping/Kneeling/Bending: You will kneel in luggage compartments to load supplies and navigate tight spaces within the aircraft.
    • Strength: You must be able to push open and pull closed the main cabin door, which weighs up to 130 pounds. You will lift supplies weighing approximately 25 to 30 pounds from floor level to waist height repeatedly.
