We at Copa Airlines know that our people have great taste—not just in service, but in people. That's why we're turning to you, our team, to help us find the next generation of cabin crew. Who Should Your Candidate Be?
We're not looking for just anyone. The ideal candidate should already feel like part of the family—energetic, service-driven, and ready for the unique rhythm of aviation life. Specifically, your referral should:
- Genuinely enjoy working closely with others in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- Have excellent customer service instincts—warm, patient, and solution-oriented.
- Speak advanced English confidently (both conversationally and professionally).
- Be physically comfortable with being on their feet and moving constantly throughout a shift.
- Be fully available to work rotating schedules, including weekends and public holidays—this is the reality of life in the skies, and they should be excited about it.
Who Can Be Referred?
We can only accept candidates who are completely external to our ecosystem. That means they cannot have worked previously at:
- Copa Airlines
- Copa Airlines Colombia
- Wingo
- Any related contractors or third-party companies
Who Can Make a Referral?
Almost every employee at Copa Airlines is eligible to participate. The only exceptions are team members from the Human Resources Vice Presidency and the management team.
How the Process Works?
It's simple and managed entirely through our Talentus system. Here's what you and your candidate need to do:
- You submit the referral. Go to the job posting titled "Cabin Crew Referral Program" in Talentus and enter your candidate's information.
- Your candidate takes action. Once referred, they must log into Talentus, confirm their interest, complete the full application, and upload their current CV.
- We take over from there. Our Talent Acquisition team will review all applications. Candidates who match our profile will be invited to move forward in the selection process.
What You Need to Know About the Incentive?
We want to make sure your effort is recognized. However, there are a few conditions to keep in mind:
- To qualify for the referral incentive, your candidate must successfully complete training and remain working continuously with the company for three full months.
- Only candidates referred through Talentus on or after March 11, 2026 will be considered valid for the incentive.
- If two or more employees refer the same candidate and that candidate is hired, the incentive will go to the employee who submitted the referral first.
