The Role: A Commitment to Excellence
As our Cabin Attendant, you'll manage the overall operation of the aircraft's cabin services, ensuring a seamless, efficient, and truly legendary experience for every passenger. You'll be responsible for maintaining the aircraft's inventory, preparing the cabin according to owner preferences, and ensuring every detail is perfect—from the moment the owner steps onboard to the moment they disembark.
- Location: Santa Ana, CA (KSNA) – Must reside within a two-hour drivable commute to the aircraft's base
- Operation: Part 91 – Approximately 250 hours annually
Your Duties and Responsibilities
This role is about more than just service—it's about anticipating needs, solving problems proactively, and ensuring that every journey exceeds expectations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring strict compliance with all safety regulations and protocols while providing exceptional service to passengers
- Learning and maintaining detailed knowledge of the owner's food preferences, needs, allergies, and other personalized requests—true luxury is in the details
- Regularly updating passenger profiles and maintaining accurate aircraft inventory records
- Organizing and maintaining owner lockers, cages, and office spaces, ensuring all aircraft bedding, cabin supplies, and equipment are accounted for and well-maintained
- Conducting routine inventory checks to ensure quality, consistency, and readiness of all cabin supplies
- Preparing the aircraft with necessary amenities, catering, and special requests, ensuring the cabin is spotless and all items are current and in place before each flight
- Sourcing, shopping for, and stocking the aircraft with the owner's preferred items, rotating supplies and replacing items as needed
- Proactively identifying and addressing any issues related to the aircraft's cabin wear and tear, coordinating with the Pilot in Command (PIC) or appropriate department
- Safely offloading and on-loading aircraft items during regular maintenance events or as required
- Setting up the aircraft for showings to potential charter clients, ensuring it meets the highest standards
- Maintaining a flexible schedule to accommodate the owner's schedule, adjusting to changes in flight schedules as necessary
- Maintaining continuous communication with In-Flight Services management to ensure smooth operations and support
- Performing other duties as assigned or requested
Essential Job Functions

- Comply with all safety requirements necessary to perform the job safely
- Maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards
- Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external clients at all times
- Complete Clay Lacy Aviation and other job-related training
- Make decisions with multiple objectives and implement them in a safe, efficient manner
- Follow oral and written directions; plan and complete assigned duties on a regular schedule; and maintain good working relationships with others
- Be available to work flexible hours—schedules are subject to change, and employees must be available as changes occur
- Work without direct management supervision when required
- Be comfortable working day, night, and in all weather conditions
- Stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Reason, analyze, and solve problems effectively
- Always work safely and effectively
- Prioritize and multitask in a distracting environment
Required Education and Experience
To be considered for this role, you'll need:
- 3+ years of Part 91 and/or Part 135 large cabin private/corporate jet experience—this is essential
- A valid driver's license
- A valid Food Handler Certification (must be maintained)
- A valid passport
- Emergency training certificate from an approved training facility completed within the past 12 months, including CPR/First Aid (FlightSafety International, CAPS Aviation, or Aircare FACTS)
- Pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Clay Lacy Aviation Indoctrination training (completed upon hire)
- Availability to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays
- Availability to be "on-call" unless on a scheduled day off
Travel Expectations
- Travel will occur with prolonged overnight stays in domestic and international locations—flexibility is key
