Key Responsibilities:
As a Flight Attendant, you will participate in preflight briefings, produce reports, perform safety checks, and prepare the aircraft. You will ensure that food, beverages, and other supplies are sufficiently stocked on board and delivered appropriately, collecting payments or providing inventory details for restocking when applicable. Your duties include making announcements, greeting customers, checking boarding passes, answering passenger questions, assisting with bag stowage, and supporting those who need assistance. You will perform safety demonstrations, instruct customers on emergency equipment and exit row seating requirements, and use audio equipment. Walking the aisles to verify customer compliance with federal regulations before take-off and landing, as well as conducting periodic comfort checks, will also be required. You will prepare customers and the aircraft for landing according to company procedures and federal regulations. In the event of in-flight emergencies, you will provide direction and assistance, administer first aid if needed, and complete injury or incident reports. Additionally, you will complete and submit all required forms, reports, and paperwork while treating all customers and vendors with courtesy and respect. Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
Requirements
The successful candidate must be at least 21 years old, hold a high school diploma, GED, or higher, and be fluent in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding English. A polished, professional, and conservative appearance is required, and no visible tattoos or body piercings are allowed while on duty. The candidate must be available for at least eighteen days per month, attend and successfully complete Initial Flight Attendant training and Operational Experience, and reside within a two-hour radius of either San Antonio, TX or Miami, FL. Possession and maintenance of a personal cell phone is required, as is the ability to serve beverages. Customer service experience is essential, with hospitality or retail experience preferred. The candidate must hold valid travel documents with no restrictions for international travel, be capable of lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 50 pounds, and physically able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, reach, lift, stretch, or bend for extended periods up to 14 hours or more. Flexibility to work varying duty periods, including extended days, nights, weekends, and holidays, is necessary, along with the ability to multitask and work under pressure in a dynamic environment. The ability to travel to Canada is required, and a valid U.S. passport with at least six months of validity must be maintained. Candidates must have authorization to work in the United States and be able to pass drug and alcohol screenings, a pre-employment DOT drug test, and a Criminal History Records Check (CHRC).
