About the Role
As part of our inflight team, you’ll undergo comprehensive training designed to prepare you for the exciting challenges of life on board. You’ll learn how to manage both safety and service with professionalism, confidence, and care — ensuring every passenger enjoys a secure and welcoming experience. From emergency procedures to exceptional hospitality, you’ll become a trusted ambassador for our country in every destination we serve.
What You’ll Be Doing?
- Ensuring passenger safety and comfort by following all inflight procedures and regulations.
- Delivering professional, friendly, and culturally sensitive service that reflects the Spirit of Papua New Guinea.
- Representing Air Niugini with pride — from your presentation to your attitude and teamwork.
- Supporting flight operations to ensure efficiency, punctuality, and a positive experience for everyone onboard.
- Completing Air Niugini’s cabin crew training program to become a certified member of our inflight team.
Who We’re Looking For?
We’re searching for individuals who are passionate about service, eager to grow, and ready to represent PNG with pride. You bring warmth, confidence, and professionalism to everything you do — and you understand that safety and hospitality go hand in hand.
Minimum Requirements:
- Completed Grade 12 with credit passes in English and Math (or equivalent)
- At least 18 years old
- Minimum height: 160cm, with the ability to reach 210cm
- Water confident — able to swim 50 meters and float unaided for 3 minutes
- Physically fit and medically cleared to meet aviation safety standards
- Fluent in spoken and written English (Tok Pisin or local dialects are an advantage)
- Flexible to work irregular hours, weekends, public holidays, and overnight duties
- Willing and able to travel or live away from home as required
- No visible tattoos when wearing the Air Niugini uniform (traditional tattoos are exempt)
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in a hospitality, customer service, or front-line role
- Certificate or Diploma in Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field
