As a Trainee Cabin Crew member, you'll become the face of Air Niugini, delivering safe, professional, and heartfelt service to passengers from all walks of life. Your role goes far beyond the cabin—you'll be an ambassador for PNG, sharing our culture and warmth with travelers across the globe.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Putting passenger safety first by consistently applying emergency, security, and service procedures with confidence and care.

To be considered, you'll need to meet these requirements:
- Minimum Grade 12 with credit passes in Mathematics and English. (Two years of experience in hospitality or a frontline role—or a certificate or diploma in Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field—will be an advantage, though not required.)
- At least 18 years of age.
- A minimum height of 160cm, with the ability to reach 210cm.
- Water confidence: you must be able to swim 50 meters and float unaided for 3 minutes.
- Physical fitness to meet all Air Niugini and CASA medical, safety, and grooming requirements.
- Strong proficiency in spoken and written English. Tok Pisin or knowledge of local dialects is a welcome advantage.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including weekends, public holidays, and overnight duties.
- Willingness to travel and reside away from home for extended periods as required by flight operations.
- Preference is given to applicants with no dependent commitments that may limit roster availability or international travel.
- No visible tattoos when wearing the Air Niugini uniform (traditional tattoos are exempted).
